Repairs and Replacement of SQIDs
Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs) are devices used to trap and filter large pollutants in stormwater systems before they reach waterways. They allow water to flow freely while capturing litter, waste, and other debris over 5mm in size. Regular cleaning of GPTs is crucial to maintain a clean environment and prevent blockages, improve performance, and extend the lifespan of the device. The frequency of cleaning depends on location, surrounding activities, and the type of GPT installed. Routine inspections and cleaning are recommended to keep GPTs functioning properly. Safety guidelines must be followed during the cleaning process.
Leading Civil Solutions prioritises the effective cleaning of Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs) by taking a tailored approach to each individual GPT. Our team is equipped with a fleet of custom-made vehicles and plant equipment that have been specifically designed to clean GPTs efficiently. This includes the use of Combination Jet/Vac Units and small tippers, which offer versatility and ease of use in various loading and cleaning scenarios.
Our Combination Jet/Vac Units are designed with a two-pump system that enables the simultaneous removal of large amounts of debris and pressure cleaning of dirt, waste, and sediment from the GPT. The larger pump is used for removing debris, while the smaller pump is used for pressure cleaning. This results in a clean and clear GPT grate that allows water to flow freely through the pollutant traps.
We understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of GPTs and the critical role they play in keeping our waterways free of pollutants and waste. That’s why we strive to deliver the best possible cleaning results through the use of state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained personnel.

Industrial Vacuum Loading
Leading Civil Solutions’ Combination Jet/Vac Units are designed to provide exceptional performance and versatility in vacuum loading tasks. Our vacuum loading equipment is top-notch, equipped with the ability to use both a vacuum and pressurised water from two separate pumps. The large pump is utilized to move massive amounts of debris while the smaller pump provides high-pressure cleaning capabilities.
Our Combination Jet/Vac Units boast a powerful vacuum capacity of 4,200-5,900 cfm, enabling us to service higher heights and distances. The 8-inch high-pressure vacuum system significantly increases productivity by enabling us to remove large amounts of debris in a single pass, saving our customers valuable time and money.
Our vacuum loading equipment can effectively handle a wide range of materials, including waste, concrete slurry, spills, plants, mud, tree roots, sewage, rocks, and debris. We use a combination of vacuum trucks and vacuum tankers to quickly and efficiently remove and dispose of the waste. At Leading Civil Solutions, we strive to provide the best possible vacuum loading services through the use of cutting-edge equipment and highly trained personnel.
High Pressure Water Blasting
Also known as hydro blasting, is a powerful method of cleaning that involves using a high-pressure water jet to remove dirt, grime, and other unwanted substances from various surfaces. Hydro truck high pressure washing is a type of industrial cleaning service that utilises specialised equipment, such as a hydro truck, to deliver high-pressure water jets to clean and maintain different surfaces and structures.
Hydro truck high pressure washing can effectively remove dirt, grease, oil, and even rust from surfaces such as concrete, metal, and asphalt. The high-pressure water jet is able to penetrate deep into the pores of the surface being cleaned, dislodging even the toughest of contaminants. This makes it a highly effective and efficient method of cleaning for industrial and commercial applications, such as cleaning large construction sites, industrial equipment, and buildings.
The hydro truck used for high pressure washing typically consists of a large tank of water, a high-pressure pump, and a hose with a specialised nozzle attached to it. The pressure of the water can be adjusted to suit the needs of the specific cleaning job, making it a highly versatile cleaning method.
Overall, hydro truck high pressure washing is a highly effective and efficient method of cleaning that can be used to maintain and clean a wide range of surfaces and structures. It is a valuable industrial cleaning service that can help businesses maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Robotics and Point-Lining in Pipe Repair
Leading Civil Solutions uses the latest robot technology to repair and unblock sewer and stormwater pipes, leading to massive improvements in how sewer and stormwater pipes can be repaired and unblocked, we’re considered to be an industry leader in this type of technology.
Leading Civil Solutions has used robotics to allow work to be carried out with minimal disruption to the environment. For example, a robot can be sent into a pipe to clear a blockage six meters underground, this is quicker and easier than the alternative of digging it out.
Robots are a cost-effective and environmentally sensitive solution and can be used for a range of scenarios. Prior to sending the robot to repair the sewer or stormwater pipe, we investigate the extent of the problem with a CCTV inspection. If a foreign object is found to be causing the blockage, such as a loose PVC elbow, then it can be cut in half and pushed out by the robot.
Our robots are commonly used to cut and grind away obstacles that are blocking pipes, pipes that have shifted or intruding connections and can also take the guess work out of pipe realignments.
Our German made robotic equipment can be used in pipes from 125mm to 700mm in diameter.
